I have enjoyed experimenting with oil paint, layering colours and then scraping and carving through the surface revealing what is underneath. I like the idea of revealing colours through the layers which become blended as I carve or draw  into them and the idea of revealing colours that in some way relate to the subject and its history.  

I enjoy working in different mediums and find each practice can spark ideas off in unexpected ways.
